Dearest Father, my comfort and my shield.
We lift our voices in a sincere prayer of contrition.
Wrapped in the cloak of Your infinite grace, we call upon Your divine compassion as we implore you for mercy and forgiveness.
Each one of us carry within us the heaviness of sin.
We acknowledge that these transgressions have darkened the brilliance of our souls and separated us from Your divine love.
Yet in the depth of our despair, we remember the divine promise.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Through Your mercy, O Lord, we beseech You to cleanse us with the purifying blood of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
