TODAY’S DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

You Have Been Called To Join My Circle

Sometimes as you grow more intimate in God, your social circle my grow smaller – but it’s not a bad thing.

Socializing with the wrong people and getting involved in useless habits or conversations can cost you your reputation. Be careful of those you engage in and make sure you have no more time for foolishness.

It is hard to let go of the relationships you were used to having, but what if they are dragging you down? What if you are compromising your values just to please them? What if they are too needy and it is not healthy anymore? Or what if they do not have your best interest at heart?

To rise above the average into an anointed life, focus on God and not on people. Believe and trust Him to give you a discerning heart because He intends you to have relationships that please Him. For now, He is there willing to listen to all that concerns you. Talk to Him first and He is ready to bless you to press in and breakthrough.

1 Corinthians 15:33-34 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God – I say this to your shame.

Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, I trust Your decision when you remove certain people from my life. Help me keep right on living and give me the grace to spend more time with You. Help me to develop an everlasting relationship with You because it is what matters the most. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
