In God, there is a love found like none other.
There is a Supreme Being whose eyes are upon you and watches you with full delight and admiration. A sovereign God whose provision is His presence where He completely hears and leads you in every walk of your life. An Almighty Father who has a protective love which burns like a fire that cannot be quenched and is always on the lookout.
Though the mountains are shaken, and the hills may be moved, nor troubles, pressures, or even death can ever diminish His unfailing love for you. He is there even when others turn their backs on you, and is present amid all chaos – ready to fight, heal, and defend you.
Instead of remaining in heaven’s glory with all the angels, He chose to be in eternity with you by laying down His life as a sacrifice. He pursued you, despite your rejection, weaknesses, and failures, because He knows the end and the beginning and the joy that is set before you.
I love the Lord for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.
Psalm 116:1-2
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-19
Let us pray:
Dear God, thank You for the love that you have provided even when I do not deserve it. Help me remember to love others with reverence and gratitude for the undeserved grace and mercy that You have given upon me. Help me not forget all the goodness and favor you showed me when I am about to give up and hate myself. You are my loving Father and it is You whom I belong. In Jesus’ name, amen.
