Have you ever stepped on something and stumbled? Have you placed your faith in something and been shamed?
There is no name given other than Jesus, whom you can put your full trust in. He is the Chief Cornerstone. He is a reliable foundation, a bedrock of faith that has been tested and tried, and a Redeemer who provides the stability for your salvation.
He is a God of deliverances because if you belong to Him, you will escape – even escape from death. He will keep your feet so that it would not slip and has promised that He will never cast you out when you come and call upon Him. Therefore, believe and you will be saved.
Whenever you will fall away from the truth, go back to whom your soul belongs. You are a child of the Most High God, a member of a spiritual family. Your hope is in His unchanging love. Your cornerstone.
Isaiah 28:16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.”
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Today’s Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for being the basis of my faith, for You have built a foundation with my ancestors. I count on you no matter what lies ahead because You are constant and true and what I believe for is not in vain. Remind me of Your steadfast love and I am grateful that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.
