My child, I have come today to share a simple truth with you. Many people feel like life is challenging and are often met with circumstances that they are not ready to face. What if I told you that all these things you experience are a result of your inner being?
There lies one often overlooked truth: the state of your heart profoundly shapes your experience of the world. From the tiny miracles that you experience day in and day out, to the grand feats that are celebrated. The thoughts you keep within yourself are so often translated into reality.
Christ calls all His faithful to bask in positivity not just because it’s “the right thing to do”, but also because this positivity that takes root within you has the power to manifest into every aspect of your life and change you for the better.
The Power of Positivity
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
Dearest one, a heart unburdened by deceit and negativity is a vessel for God’s grace. In having a genuine heart and filling it with positivity, we are able to allow God to shape our lives in the most beautiful way. Embracing positivity is not about ignoring the realities of pain and suffering but about choosing to see them through the lens of faith.
Manifesting Faith: As we cultivate a positive outlook, our faith becomes a tangible force in our lives. It’s not merely about feeling good; it’s about actively trusting in God’s plan, even in adversity.
Reciprocating Divine Love: God’s love is unwavering. When we reflect this love back through our actions and attitudes, we create a cycle of positivity that uplifts not just us but those around us.
It is written, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22). This ancient wisdom holds a profound truth: a positive heart not only uplifts our spirit but also empowers our day. It is the wellspring of happiness, the catalyst for compliance with the divine plan, and the assurance of a certain and promising future.
How to Stay Positive When Faced With Suffering?
A valid question that many have asked is how to stay positive when in pain? My dear one, do not confuse happiness with positivity. You see, you can be sad or unhappy but yet choose to remain positive in any given situation. The foundation for all your positive thoughts should be grounded in faith that the Lord will see you through all adversity.
“We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance.” (Romans 5:3)
Did you know that when the early Christians first began their worship and evangelization, many non-believers were taken aback because they saw that my children were UNAFRAID of suffering and persecution?
Life’s trials are not roadblocks but stepping stones on our path to spiritual maturity. A positive heart sees these challenges as opportunities to deepen our understanding of God’s will.
Joy in suffering may seem paradoxical, but it’s in these moments that we often find the deepest sense of purpose and connection to God.
Our human desire to control every aspect of our lives often leads us away from relying on God. Recognizing that our understanding is limited is the first step towards true faith and positivity.
Daily Prayer for a Positive Heart
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart seeking the grace of positivity in my life. I yearn for purity and clarity in my heart, that I may see Your hand in every aspect of my life.
Gracious God, help me to manifest my faith in You, not just in moments of joy but also in times of struggle. Teach me to embrace life’s challenges as opportunities for growth, understanding that “suffering produces perseverance”. Let my heart be a vessel for Your love, reciprocating the boundless compassion You shower upon us.
In my moments of doubt and fear, remind me of Your promise, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Grant me the courage to let go of my need for control, to trust in Your greater plan for my life.
May my heart be resilient in faith, learning empathy and understanding through my own trials. Let my positive spirit be a beacon of Your love and grace, touching the lives of those around me. Transform my challenges into opportunities, leading me to a deeper understanding of Your divine mystery.
Lord, with a heart filled with gratitude and hope, I entrust my journey to You. Guide me, mold me, and use me as an instrument of Your peace and positivity in this world.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
