Invoke the unfailing protection of your beloved guardian angel, to steel your faith and shield you from all dangers seen and unseen.

With a heart full of hope and longing for your grace,
I invoke the presence of my Guardian Angel,
beseeching their heavenly assistance
in every stride and struggle of my life.
🪽O Angel of God, my holy protector,
whom God has sent to watch over me in my life,
In moments of despair when the shadows of life obscure my path,
remain steadfast beside me.
Illuminate my steps with your celestial light,
and with your wings, shield me
from the overbearing weight of my woes.
Let your presence be a constant reminder
of the unwavering love of our Father,
ensuring that even in the darkest times,
I am never truly alone.
I call upon you, O Guardian Angel,
for protection in the manifold aspects of my life.
Safeguard my body
from the ills that might beset it,
Safeguard my mind
from the doubts that may perturb it,
and safeguard my heart
from the evils that could taint it.
Watch over my journey, where I tread upon
familiar paths or venture into new terrains.
Protect my rest, that in my dreams
I may find respite and not unrest.
In my interactions, be my shield
guiding me in kindness and wisdom,
so that I may reflect the love of Christ
in every word and deed.
In the battles against the forces
that seek to lead me astray,
stand before me.
Be my defense in the confrontation
against these dark powers,
encircle me with the fire of Holy Spirit,
and let no evil befall me.
As St. Paul proclaimed, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12)
Extend your guardianship to my loved ones,
envelope them in your protective embrace.
Let us all dwell under the assurance of your vigilant care,
as you lead us closer to the Almighty,
navigating through the trials
and joys of this life.
Inspire me to heed your gentle nudging
towards acts of goodness and charity.
Help me to recognize the divine spark within others
and to serve them with a heart
mirroring the compassion of Jesus.
In moments of triumph and joy,
remind me to give thanks to God,
attributing all my successes to His generous hand.
Thus, I entrust myself to your protection and guidance,
confident in your ability to lead me
through this temporal existence
to the eternal joy that awaits with our Father.
Together with the choir of angels,
may we one day glorify God forever in His Heavenly Kingdom.

to light and guard,
