A Prayer for Joy and Strength

Dear Father in Heaven,

Sometimes, I feel worn out and exhausted because of the daily battles I face.

The days feel worn and drawn out, and my energy is depleted.

Therefore, I pray You will release Your supernatural joy and strength.

Release Your spirit of unspeakable gladness.

So that when I grow tired and weary, I will have the strength because You have already provided.

Let me praise You and worship.

And break off this chain of great heaviness.

So that I will rise and enjoy in Your presence.

Produce in me a new life and result it in great harvest.

And let the works of my hands not die but flourish.

Remind me to always seek You.

And let me wear the helmet of salvation.

For this struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against all the evil authorities and forces.

Let me be encouraged as I go forth.

And let Your joy be my strength as I head out and face these people.

Nothing will steal my joy, for it is rooted and grounded in You.

And let me not grieve because I will rejoice in You.

Let the sun be brighter, air be clearer, and myself to feel better.

Raise my spirits and bring vitality into my life.

I know You will be there for me.

Fill me with Your Spirit and let me wait for You.

Let me consider it pure joy whenever I face trials of many kinds.

So, when I finish this good work, I may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
