A Prayer to Glorify God’s Name

Dear Father in Heaven,

I was created in Your image and Your likeness.

I am Your seed and Your kind.

You intricately formed me in my mother’s womb.

Therefore, I pray You see the expression of Your glory, for I am the works of Your hands.

Showcase Your glory through me.

Do a brand-new thing in my life.

Let the new thing be so great so that I will forget my past.

And let me be in tune with Your Holy Spirt to be a living sacrifice.

I may suffer in shame, failures, and struggles, but I know You just allowed it to let Your glory be known.

I may have related with the wrong people, made mistakes, gave up on my dreams,
but all this guilt and helplessness has a purpose.

I surrender completely to You.

I pray You will turn it all around for my good.

Reverse the damages and restore the lost chances.

Because through this, Your name will be glorified.

Use certain people to help me, but do not let them share Your glory.

Remind me that out of my reduced chances and limited option, You are there to help me.

I give you all the opportunity to perform Your signs, miracles, and wonders.

Lord, remind me to not brag myself about what is in me.

Let me go low, stay on my feet, and be humble.

Because I know in the end You will elevate me.

Let my words glorify You.

Let it speak life through Your scriptures.

For I want to give You all the glory
so that people will know you and be drawn closer to your goodness.
