Saint Benedict Prayer for Breaking Curses, Hexes & Spiritual Attacks (Powerful Protection Prayer)

Let Us Pray

Where Does True Spiritual Authority Come From?

What if there was a kind of protection that follows us 24/7 and is always working in the background? Whether we are awake or asleep. In times of despair and fair weather. In all trails and tribulations that we go through. But where can such protection be found?

The Church reminds us that spiritual authority does not originate in rituals or words alone, but in Christ Himself. Saints like Saint Benedict of Nursia show us how fully surrendered lives become channels of that authority. Saint Benedict did not seek power over darkness; he sought holiness. And through that holiness, Christ’s authority flowed powerfully through him.

His intercession does not seek to overcome evil for evil’s sake. It draws the soul firmly back under the lordship of Jesus Christ, where no curse, malice, or spiritual attack can remain.

Declaring the Authority of Christ

Saint Benedict’s strength came from one source alone: total obedience to Christ. His life proclaimed that when the heart is anchored in the Cross, evil loses its claim. Witchcraft, curses, malice, and hidden spiritual attacks cannot survive where Christ reigns as Lord.

The medal of Saint Benedict is not a charm; it is a confession of faith. Its sacred words declare that Christ is our light and that the enemy has no dominion. When we call upon Saint Benedict’s intercession, we are asking that the authority of Christ be renewed within us – in our thoughts, our homes, and our spiritual foundations.

Scripture assures us that at the name of Jesus every knee must bend. This includes every spiritual influence that seeks to disturb peace or sow fear. Through Saint Benedict’s prayers, the heart is strengthened to renounce what does not come from God and to stand firm in truth. Evil is not merely resisted — it is uprooted, because it finds no place to remain.

This is why Saint Benedict’s intercession brings calm rather than anxiety. Christ’s authority does not agitate the soul; it restores order. Where there has been confusion, clarity returns. Where there has been spiritual heaviness, grace brings rest. The heart becomes a dwelling place once again for the peace of Christ.

Faith in Daily Practice

  • Ask Saint Benedict to intercede whenever fear or spiritual heaviness arises
  • Renounce anything that does not come from Christ, trusting His authority alone
  • Keep a blessed crucifix or Saint Benedict medal as a reminder of Christ’s victory
  • Begin and end each day invoking the Holy Cross as your protection
  • Rest in the truth that no darkness can remain where Christ reigns

As you prepare to pray, remember this: you are not standing alone against the struggles you feel. You are standing within the protection of Christ Himself, surrounded by His mercy, His authority, and His peace. Nothing that troubles your heart has more power than the Cross you are about to invoke. Through the intercession of Saint Benedict, Christ’s victory is gently yet firmly reaffirmed within you. It roots out all fear, breaks every burden that does not belong, and restores calm where unrest once lingered. Enter this prayer with trust, not tension. Let each word settle your spirit, knowing that God is already at work, guarding you, strengthening you, and drawing you deeper into His light.
