You may be running through a race, but slowed down and halted near the finish line. You may be in the wilderness, lost in a fog, chasing after the shadows, tempted to give up. It felt like you could barely make it on the other side.
Some demons along the path tried to trip you up, pushed you down, and steered you the wrong way. They taunted and lied to you so that you will not reach what God has promised in your life.
But in that far distance of the tunnel is a glimmer of light. It is God who penetrated in the darkness because He will not allow it to consume you. Therefore, do not be afraid and let your faith be the same.
Get up, dust yourself off, and follow Him, for He will light which path to take. Endure, and He will show you the way to His promises. He will guide you into safety and unto the road of righteousness for His name’s sake.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Psalm 32:8
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Today’s Devotional
Heavenly Father, I found my hope in You. As Your child, lead me to the way I should go because I know it is for my benefit. Help me obey what you will instruct and remind me that Your power is behind Your Word. I will fight a good fight and will run that race and finish it. I will persevere under that trial and will stand that test. It is because You are faithful and are waiting at the end of the tunnel of this despair, giving that light so that I will receive the crown of life. It is all for Your glory, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
