Dear Father in Heaven,
I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die a gruesome death on the cross on our behalf.
He demonstrated His ultimate act of love for us by making Himself a Lamb to sacrifice.
He was pierced, crushed, punished, and crucified.
So, Lord, what is the man that You are mindful of us?
You do not need a single thing, but why do You still want us?
You have freely and unexpectedly given us a love that we do not deserve.
You blotted out our transgressions and gave us the gift of eternal life and Your salvation.
We now have peace and are grateful for Your divine favor.
And we are privileged to be called Your sons and daughters.
Through You, we have the victory.
It is done because of what You have done.
Therefore, I will walk in surrender and obedience.
I will listen to Your words and will wait for You.
I will trust You and offer my life to You.
For You are worthy of my worship, honor, and praise.
You are worthy of my love and my faith.
You alone are our God.
And I exist because of You and for You.
I pray You will let the Cross draw man to You.
For You are here, alive, and present with us.
You have risen from the dead, for You defied and defeated death.
And You are now seated at the right hand of the Father.
In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Amen 🙏
