Dear Heavenly Father, creator of all things good. You have been with me through all of life’s transitions, challenges and changes.
You have sheltered me and kept me save from the grip of those who would see me fail.
Your presence has been a light in my life when darkness was closing in.
This past year, I recall your deep compassion and everlasting love.
I recall all the many tiny miracles that you have breathed into my life.
I thank you for the friends, family and sturdy relationships that I have forged.
I thank you greatly for the gifts, opportunities & prosperity that you have brought to my table;
And for all the experiences – good or bad, that have shaped me into a better person.
As I embark on a new beginning, I embrace you and all of your grace.
I freely accept the most precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
Release me from all binding chains of pain, hurt or guilt that I have felt.
Dispel all anger & negative emotions that linger.
Plant in me the seed of your purpose, that I may bloom and bear fruit that is worthy of your name.
Be my shield against the tides of gloom as I venture forth to conquer in your name.
Guard me & my loved ones safely under your wing.
Strengthen our hope and faith that we may never falter in doing what is right & just.
And grant us happiness always in everything that we do.
For we shall always seek Christ with cheery hearts.
May this year be filled with peace, prosperity & love.
My I serve as a light for your people, and follow in the path that you have set out for me.
I am capable of great power and goodness as I set my mind to the task.
I humbly open myself to receive all of your blessings into my life.
Send forth your Holy saints & angels to be my daily guides,
And empower me to draw goodness out of all things & experiences.
I welcome the exciting new experiences & challenges of the year ahead.
With persistence & a strong will I shall draw from your strength and overcome all.
Guide the people to grow closer in your love.
Touch the hearts of leaders of all nations, that they may always seek peace above all.
And grant us, your children, your love everlasting.
Let us go forth and do good in your name.
