YOUR DAILY PRAYER & BLESSINGS

St. Ignatius of Loyola Prayer to Receive Christ in Full

Let Us Pray

This prayer, inspired by the life and spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola, seeks to draw us closer to Christ. May it serve as a source of inspiration and strength, guiding us on our journey of faith. Through the intercession of St. Ignatius, may we receive the grace to follow Christ more closely and to live lives that reflect His love and mercy.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and through the intercession of St. Ignatius of Loyola, we come before You with humble hearts. As we embark on this journey of prayer, we seek to deepen our relationship with You, to draw closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and to find strength and guidance in the wisdom of St. Ignatius. May this prayer inspire and uplift us, and may it bring us ever nearer to Your divine presence.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🙏
Let us pray.

O glorious St. Ignatius of Loyola, faithful servant of Christ, we turn to you today with fervent hearts.
You who experienced the transformative power of God’s love,
who sought to find God in all things,
and who dedicated your life to the greater glory of God,
we implore your most powerful intercession.

Soul of Christ, Sanctify Me
O Divine Master, let Your sanctifying grace permeate every part of my being.
Purify my thoughts, words, and actions so that I may be a living reflection of Your holiness.
St. Ignatius, you who longed to be sanctified by Christ
teach us to seek sanctification with unwavering devotion.
Help us to surrender ourselves completely to God’s will,
allowing His grace to transform us from within.

Body of Christ, Save Me
Lord Jesus, through Your sacred body, You gave Yourself entirely for our salvation.
In the Eucharist, You continue to offer us this gift of Your Body.
St. Ignatius, who often found solace and strength in the Eucharist,
intercede for us that we may always approach this sacrament with reverence and love.
May we receive the Body of Christ with a pure heart,
and may it nourish and sustain us on our journey towards eternal life.

Blood of Christ, Inebriate Me
O precious Blood, poured out for the redemption of humanity,
fill us with Your divine intoxication.
Let us be inebriated by the love and mercy that flow from Your Sacred Heart.
Help us to appreciate the boundless love that is revealed in the shedding of His Blood.
May this love consume us and inspire us to live lives of sacrificial love and service.

Water from the Side of Christ, Wash Me
Lord, from Your pierced side flowed water and blood,
a symbol of the sacramental life of the Church.
Cleanse us, O Lord, with the water of baptism and the tears of repentance.
St. Ignatius, who experienced the cleansing power of God’s grace,
pray for us that we may be continually renewed and purified.
Help us to embrace the sacrament of reconciliation,
where we encounter the merciful love of Christ.

Passion of Christ, Strengthen Me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
Most precious Savior, You endured the agony of the cross for our sake.
In Your Passion, You revealed the depth of Your love and the extent of Your sacrifice.
St. Ignatius, who contemplated the Passion with deep reverence,
guide us to find strength in our own trials and sufferings.
May we unite our pain with Christ’s Passion,
knowing that through His suffering, we find redemption and hope.

O Good Jesus, Hear Me
Lord, You are always attentive to the cries of Your faithful.
Hear our prayers, O Lord, and grant us the grace we need to follow You more closely.
St. Ignatius, who sought to discern the voice of God in all things,
teach us to listen to the gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit.
Help us to cultivate a heart that is open to God’s will,
ready to respond with love and obedience.

Within Thy Wounds, Hide Me
O Crucified Savior, Your wounds are a source of healing and refuge.
St. Ignatius, who found solace in the wounds of Christ,
pray for us that we may seek refuge in His Sacred Heart.
May we find comfort and protection in the wounds of Jesus,
knowing that He has borne our sins and sorrows.
Let His wounds be a constant reminder of His unfathomable love for us.

Suffer Me Not to Be Separated from Thee
Lord Jesus, keep us close to Your Sacred Heart.
In moments of doubt, temptation, and weakness, draw us nearer to You.
St. Ignatius, you who remained steadfast in his love for Christ,
Intercede for us that we may never be separated from His love.
Help us to remain faithful, even in the face of trials and tribulations.

From the Malignant Enemy, Defend Me
O Divine Protector, shield us from the snares of the evil one.
St. Ignatius, who battled against spiritual forces with the armor of faith,
pray for us that we may be vigilant and strong in the face of temptation.
May we always rely on God’s grace to overcome the attacks of the enemy
and remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🙏
