Dear Father in Heaven,
I can still recall all the rescue and redemption You did when I messed up with my life.
You have been so good to me, and now, I desire to obey You.
For You have said in Your word that obedience is better than sacrifice.
That obedience is an act of faith, and You know the plans You have for me.
You have the plans to prosper me and not to harm me.
You have a plan to give me hope and a future.
So, I lay all my struggles and fears,
I lay all my doubts and drafted schemes.
And I will choose to lift my cross and follow You.
Grant me an intimate relationship with You, Lord.
So, I may know and fulfil my purpose.
Give me wisdom, strength, and endurance,
So that when I grow tired and weary, I will be renewed for my hope is in You.
Impart me a heart of service for Your Son, Jesus, did not come to be served but to serve and gave His life as a ransom for many.
Check my heart, Lord, and know my motives.
Correct me and lead me to the right way.
Turn me away from my selfish and worldly desires and consider it love that I follow You.
I walk in surrender, take heed in Your voice, and I trust You with my breakthrough.
For I want to talk in Your miracles, blessings, and promised results.
