You, in Your boundless wisdom and mercy, appointed St. Dymphna as the guardian of those encumbered by psychological distress. She shines as a beacon of hope and charity, guiding all who invoke her aid toward the light of Your grace.
Lord, in the embrace of St. Dymphna’s prayers, grant those suffering from the shadows of the mind the solace of Your presence. May they find in her story a wellspring of courage, and in her intercession, a path to tranquility.
We ask that You imbue our hearts with the peace that St. Dymphna found in her trust in You, a peace that the world cannot give. As the dawn chases away the night, let Your love dispel the fears and anxieties that cloud our minds, renewing us in spirit and body.
In our moments of despair, remind us of the promise You made through Your Son, Jesus Christ: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27). May this divine peace be our stronghold and the answer to the prayers we lift up through St. Dymphna.
O Loving Father, grant us the serenity to accept what cannot be changed, the strength to change what can be, and the wisdom to know the difference. Fill our journeys with hope and lead us to the relief and restoration we seek.
