Whether you are in desperate need of miracles or finding solace the presence of the Lord, He is always listening to you. Every wish, prayer and cry for help is received, and He knows all that you are going through. You may wonder why sometimes God does not directly reply or send down an immediate miracle.
Dearest child, what you need to understand is that God wants the best for you, and that sometimes means giving us space to grow and experience the fullness of life. No matter what God’s has in store for us, trust that He is always listening to you and his ultimate desire is to reunite with you in eternal salvation. Your messages to the divine father do not go unheard.
As God’s messenger Saint Gabriel the Archangel, I want to reassure you that the Lord is steadfast in his desire to speak with you. He wants to talk to you constantly, mentor, and support you all the way through your life. Trust in His tender presence, and allow the divine whispers to enter your heart.
Communication is a Two-Way Street
Because of the complex nature of God, we often do not receive immediate answers to our prayers. Some may mistaken this to be a one-way communication channel where we are the ones always speaking for God to listen but this couldn’t be further from the truth! Just as any effective communication requires both parties to speak and listen at the right moments, so too must you do so when speaking to God.
Reach Him In Prayer
Prayer is the one of the most important foundations of our faith that allows us to cultivate a close relationship with the Heavenly Father. It is true this beautiful channel of expression where we share our sorrows, joys, gratitude, anger, shortcomings and repent of our transgressions. Through prayer we seek guidance and pour out our hearts to the Father who hears and comforts us.
As you pray, keep in mind that you should also be listening in order to receive God’s wisdom and direction. There are many ways of effective prayer and each form form has a special beauty that can improve your spiritual connection to God. Be willing to try out various prayer techniques in order to discover the one that speaks to you the most.
Quiet Your Hearts
Schedule some quiet time each day to spend with God, allowing your heart to be receptive to His voice. Quieting your mind and concentrating on God may require practice, but the benefits of this close relationship with God are priceless. Consider developing a routine and designating a specific time and location for your moments of silence.
Silence often has a more profound effect than we expect. Give yourself the gift of quiet time with God and trust in the healing power of stillness.
My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.

Discerning the Voice of God
It can be difficult to learn to separate God’s voice from our own or other people’s voices. It takes patience, repetition, and a growing intimacy with the Lord. You will learn to recognize God’s voice as your faith deepens and you spend more time in prayer and solitude.
Trust in His divine direction and rest assured that He will reveal His will to you when the time is right. Be patient and continue to be receptive to the various channels God may use to speak with you.
Faith from Scripture
If you want to develop a strong relationship with God then you too must cultivate a habit of reading scripture. For what better way to seek answers than to turn to the Word of God? In this Holy Book is contained a reflection of the knowledge, wisdom, and love of God.
Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and heart as you read the Bible so that you can comprehend and put its teachings into practice. You can rely on the Bible to speak to your heart, directing you on your spiritual path and strengthening your bond with the Lord.
God Is With You In Every Step
My dear child, I want to reassure you once more that God desires to communicate with you constantly. You can strengthen your relationship with the Lord and gain a better understanding of what He wants for your life through prayer, meditation, discernment, and reading the scripture.
May you always be receptive to God’s whispers and put your faith in His unfailing love, wisdom, and protection. And may you find solace and courage in the knowledge that you are never alone because the Lord is always with you as you travel through life.

Dear Lord, I am so grateful for the incredible blessing of being able to communicate with You. I ask that You help me focus on Your voice, draw closer to You, and have faith in Your unending love. Saint Gabriel, please intercede for me, so that I may be more receptive to God's voice and truly understand the depths of His love for me.
