St. Michael – Invest Wisely

The most successful and seasoned saints know the value of investing wisely, especially on things that will contribute to greater growth in the long-term.

But how do we navigate between good investments and risky ones in life? While executing our mission on earth, we tend to make plenty of investments whether in terms of time or resources. The great protector, Saint Michael, is coming to us to offer great wisdom when it comes to investing so that we reap big and enjoy the fruits of our success.

Before God created you and formed you in your mother’s womb, he had a purpose for you. The gifts that he has bestowed upon you, he expects you to put to good use and not let it go to waste.

Before we go back to our daily routines and sink into the banality of life, St. Michael wants you to remember that you must not let your gifts go to waste. You have always been meant to invest them and allow them to flourish to benefit the world around you.

God Rewards Those Who Work Hard

Sometimes we work very hard and invest too much expecting that we shall be highly rewarded and our efforts will be equally compensated. Unfortunately, the results of our hard work are not immediate and if we lack the knowledge of God, we think that God has abandoned us.

When this happens, most of the time we tend to lose our faith in God and misuse the resources we have invested out of frustration.

Think of your investments as that of planting seeds. When you first scatter the seeds to grow do you expect to see a tree bloom within a day?

The best investments take time, but if we put in the time and effort to nurture them the results can be monumental.

Saint Michael is revealing to us that God sees all and judges everyone fairly. He will reward your hard work and any delays in gratification does not imply that we have been denied, for our rewards will be great in heaven.

Just because our blessings have been delayed does not mean that we pull out of our investment with God for in due time we shall receive greater benefits that those who laughed at us shall hang their heads in shame.

Do not lose hope and trust earnestly in His divine grace, for all your have humble & sincere intentions have been recorded.

Don’t Take Unnecessary Risks

The language of investment always states that the higher the risk the higher the returns. Does this mean that we should invest in any risky deal that we come across? Is it really worth it?

The devil derives pleasure by realizing that we are willing to take any risk and uses that as an edge to tempt us into sin for we are most certain to fall into that temptation. For this reason we need to seek the help of the angels and saints so that we may be able to distinguish the right spiritual investments to get into.

Saint Michael in warning us against taking any unnecessary risk for it does not guarantee a return. During the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, the devil was fully invested in the scriptures and had great knowledge of God thus tried to use it against him.

In his temptation, the devil tried to get Jesus to try to prove his power since he was fully aware of the power he wielded. Sometimes, we fall into temptations because we rush to try to prove how wise we are and we end up sinning. Today we are assured that some risks are not worth taking up , thus we need to avoid them at all costs.

Do Due Diligence For What You Invest In

If we have made a decision to invest our souls in the kingdom of God, we need to conduct due diligence by equipping ourselves with knowledge about God. It is only by learning about him and nourishing our souls and minds with knowledge about God that we shall be able to understand him and seek more people to join his kingdom.

Saint Michael is warning us that there will be many temptations to distract us from our mission on earth and coerce us into investing into unsuitable deals and foregoing those with potential.

In the book of Matthew 10:16, Jesus told his disciples that he was sending them out as sheep among wolves hence they ought to be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves. In a similar manner, we are warned that as investments of God, we ought to be wise enough to distinguish and avoid the traps set by the evil one.

As investors on earth, we ought to always be on guard by making prayer & charity our foremost focus, whilst distancing ourselves from the promises of the evil one.

Prayer To Saint Michael

“Dear Saint Michael, the great protector, I thank you for your constant protection in my life.

Thank you for granting your power as the great protector to always protect me from the evil one.

I pray that I will invest my resources wisely with the time given to me.

Help me to plant seeds that will flourish.

Guide my intentions and steer me away from malicious promises.

May my spiritual wealth grow and surpass any earthly riches that man may covet.

I pray that you may grant me the grace to make the right decisions and invest myself fully in the kingdom of God for that is my eternal home.”

🙏 Amen 🙏
