TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

St. Francis Xavier – The Source of All Energy

St. Francis Xavier has come today to deliver the message that our days of living in the dark are over, for he have been blessed with a powerful energy supplier that will bring us back into the light. If you have been feeling smothered, unmotivated or kept in the dark, know that God who is the eternal source of energy is always there to bring power back into your livfe.

Sometimes life kicks us on the back and even before we can get up, it hits us a big blow. It’s extremely frustrating and demotivating, sometimes we wonder what we have done to deserve such luck.

Take heart, even if you are at a point where all your plans are seem to be falling short, or things are not moving as you intended them to.

Do not despair, even if you feel discouraged or lack the energy and motivation to move ahead.

Fear not, for your patron saint has seen your struggles. He knows the pain you have gone through, and the effort that you have put in. It’s time for you to tap into the divine power of God to kickstart your day and emerged renewed.

Everlasting Energy Supply

Beloved, rejoice for God has heard your cry of help and he is asking you to hold unto your faith. Worry not for being in the dark for God is the source of all energy hence He assures that you will always be connected to his constant supply of divine power, love and miracles. Whenever you put your trust in the Lord, you will never experience black-out in your life.

The book of Isaiah 40:31 states that those who trust and hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint. For this reason, we ought to always trust in God in all circumstances.

Do not try to face all your earthly battles on your own, for humans are weak, fallible and limited. If we do not seek the help of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, we will eventually end up feeling spiritually drained. But as a child of the living God, you have been granted access to His domain and kingdom.

As Jesus said, “And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Call upon the Lord when you are feeling drained and your power reserves are running low. All who call upon the name of Jesus shall not be denied. Saint Francis Xavier is appealing to you to tap into God’s unlimited power so that you will obtain energy all challenges and adversities that come your way.

Take Back Your Power

Sometimes we give out our power to others and let them sit in the driver’s seat yet we expect them to move towards our desired direction. We fail to realize that the moment they take the steering wheel is the moment we give out our will-power hence they will command us as they wish. Other times we are too generous to others at the expense of our peace that it spiritually drains us. Our souls are like phones running out of battery yet instead of charging ourselves first, we give others the charger so that they can charge themselves. While it may seem as an act of kindness, the reality is that it drains us spiritually leaving us empty and broken.

Saint Francis Xavier, is challenging us to take back our power from others and get back to the driver’s seat for we are in complete control of our lives and how they unfold. We are warned that we need to charge ourselves up before charging others for we can not quench other people’s thirst using an empty vessel. If we become like empty power banks, then we are useless because we can not supply energy to others when they need us the most.

Our Utility in God’s Eyes

Sometimes our fellow human beings make us feel inferior especially in situations where they are doing better than us. When we lose self-esteem we are likely to buy into their thoughts and start believing that we are actually inferior. While we are created as children of the light, failure to recognize our sacredness will make us live as children of the dark yet we belong to the light.

Saint Francis is reminding us that we are children of God and we are created in his image and likeness. Whenever we lose faith in ourselves, we are reminded that God created us for a purpose and that is the reason for our existence. We ought to keep moving ahead because we have a reason and a power source.
